Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager, Programs Level I in Plymouth, MN to lead the Armament Systems/Ammunition portfolio. The role drives on-time, on-cost delivery across multiple production programs and advances product design for manufacturing improvements.

The position requires directing cross-functional IPTs, cultivating customer relationships, and mentoring junior PMs while pursuing new business opportunities and strategic capture planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience OR Master’s with 3 years in U.S. Government contracts or project management

Responsibilities

• Lead programs through the full lifecycle from proposal development to closeout
• Manage cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs
• Cultivate customer relationships to develop future opportunities
• Develop and mentor Junior Program Managers and IPT resources
• Lead cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet objectives
• Coordinate proposals, budgets, and schedules with internal/external partners
