Job summary

Accessible Space in the Twin City Metro area is seeking a Full-Time Program Manager to lead residential services and oversee program operations. You will work closely with residents to implement individual service plans and ensure accurate care documentation and timely paperwork.

The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree or equivalent experience, strong leadership, and the ability to build positive relationships with staff and residents.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in social services or related field, or two-year degree with two years’ relevant experience.
• 3+ years with adults with physical disabilities in rehab or long-term care.
• Strong leadership and ability to build positive relationships with staff and residents.
• Direct support experience and at least two years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with residents to implement individual service plans.
• Monitor care documentation for currency and accuracy.
• Submit paperwork to the administrative office promptly.
• Maintain 24-hour staff coverage and be reachable by cell.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls.
• Supervise Direct Support staff with care and attention.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Stay informed about Accessible Space Personnel Policies.
• Foster teamwork among staff members.
• Create and manage staff schedules for smooth operations.
• Welcome residents to the program and assist them in developing their personal goals.
