Job summary
Safran Seats Gainesville, Texas, is seeking a Program Manager 2 to lead a multidisciplinary IPT and drive project success in aerospace programs. You will manage costs, deadlines, and quality while coordinating with sales, engineering and the bid team to deliver on commitments.

Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related business management or related engineering discipline or 6 years related experience in lieu of Bachelor's level degree.
- OR Requires an Associate's degree in a related business management or related engineering discipline and 3 years related experience in lieu of Bachelor's level degree.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Requires an additional 5 years' experience in project or program environment with 2 of the 5 years in one or a combination of IPT, program ownership of scope, schedule and budget.
- Senior level responsibility in direct customer interface or P&L.

This position contributes to our vision by:
Lead the multidisciplinary team (IPT) in charge of the project. Fully understand the project management methodology (management of costs, deadlines, quality, etc.) and implement it as part of a program activity.
Responsible for implementing a product matching 100% to the one used for the cost base in the bid and to make him/her self-knowledgeable of all elements of the bid including the cost base.
Draws up the contract compliance form, with information on how differences will be corrected. Is familiar with the tools used to demonstrate program compliance with the contract (test reports, SAP inventory extraction, etc.). Ensures that each member of the Program Team is familiar with all contractual terms and conditions applicable to his/her function and that they are consistently implemented. For a new contract, ensures that the processes needed for contract compliance are in place (billing, payment, etc.).
Clarifies RFQ scope of work expected by the customer with sales team and/or customer.
Coordinates with estimator on pricing package assumptions.
