Job summary

Creation Technologies is seeking an entry-level Program Manager 1 (PM1) in Albuquerque to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage basic customer accounts.

The role focuses on defining scope, tracking performance, budgeting, and ensuring adherence to standards while developing foundational program management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education/experience.
• 2+ years in operational or program management roles.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of lean principles and NPI processes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with multi-priority management.
• Basic knowledge of cost variances and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Define program scope and customer requirements aligned with service standards.
• Monitor performance metrics (delivery, quality, responsiveness) and advise on issues.
• Collaborate with CFTs to manage customer deliverables and risks.
• Contribute to budget planning, revenue and material forecasting, and quotes.
• Ensure adherence to requirements and quality standards; escalate when needed.
• Apply 5-Why analysis and other problem-solving tools for mitigation.
• Advocate for customers with clear progress updates and documentation.
• Learn lean, NPI, and internal processes; mentor interns and support team.
• Travel as required (up to 10%).
• Other duties as assigned.

A Creation Technologies Program Manager 1 (PM1) is an entry-level role responsible for managing basic customer accounts and ensuring smooth program execution. The PM1 focuses on coordinating operational and service requirements across cross-functional teams (CFTs) while adhering to organizational processes. This role is critical in building foundational skills for more complex program management and customer interaction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define program scope and customer requirements, ensuring alignment with internal capabilities and service standards.
• Monitor operational performance metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness) and provide recommendations for unresolved issues.
• Collaborate with Customer Focused Teams (CFTs) to manage customer deliverables, addressing potential issues through proactive communication.
• Contribute to budget planning, including revenue and material forecasting, and support quoting activities.
• Ensure adherence to customer requirements and quality standards, escalating issues as needed.
• Apply problem-solving tools like 5-Why analysis to address challenges and identify mitigation steps for risks.
• Advocate for customers by aligning their needs with internal goals and providing regular updates with clear documentation.
• Build knowledge of lean principles, New Product Introduction (NPI), and Creation’s processes while mentoring interns and contributing to team development.
• Travel as required (up to 10%).
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience in operational or program management roles.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Foundational understanding of NPI processes and lean principles.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic knowledge of financial concepts, including cost variances and forecasting.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
