Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage manufacturing projects from quotation through production launch
• Serve as primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Oversee installation, programming, commissioning, and calibration of equipment and inspection systems
• Manage project timelines, milestones, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
• Guide engineering and technical problem-solving with machine design expertise
• Review design and install packages with engineering teams to optimize future builds
• Analyze dimensional, process, and performance data to improve quality and ramp-up
• Foster coordination across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality
• Champion Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma to reduce waste and boost efficiency
• Present project health reports, cost metrics, and schedule updates to leadership

We are seeking an experienced and leadership-driven Program Manager to oversee and execute complex manufacturing and automation projects from inception through final delivery. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, and driving technical execution with a strong understanding of industrial machinery and machine design.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage manufacturing projects from quotation through successful production launch
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, ensuring project alignment
• Oversee the installation, programming, commissioning, and calibration of manufacturing equipment and inspection systems
• Manage comprehensive project timelines, milestones, budgets, and detailed risk mitigation strategies
• Leverage a deep understanding of machines and machine design to guide engineering and technical problem-solving
• Review design and install packages, collaborating with engineering teams to optimize future product builds
• Analyze dimensional, process, and performance data to guide quality improvements and production ramp-ups
• Foster cross-functional coordination across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality departments
• Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (Six Sigma, Kaizen) to reduce waste and maximize efficiency
• Present regular project health reports, cost metrics, and schedule updates to senior leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field
• 6 to 8 years of experience in project management, program management, or engineering leadership within a manufacturing environment
• Direct experience with industrial machinery, automation, custom equipment, or capital equipment manufacturing
• Strong background in manufacturing processes, quality standards, and equipment validation
• Proven leadership, communication, and cross-functional team management skills
• Exceptional analytical, risk-assessment, and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of machine design principles and structural/mechanical operations
• Advanced certifications in project management (PMP) or continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma Black or Green Belt)
• Experience with dimensional analysis, tolerance stack-ups, or CMM data interpretation
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or similar
