About The Role
The Program Manager drives cross-functional execution across engineering, product, and operations — owning the plans, rituals, and reporting that turn roadmaps into shipped outcomes.
This role matters because complex programs fail in the seams between teams: ambiguous ownership, untracked dependencies, and slow escalation. The successful candidate will operate as the connective tissue for multiple concurrent technical programs, from infrastructure migrations to product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Own program plans end-to-end: scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and status reporting for 2-4 concurrent technical programs
- Run cross-functional execution rituals — sprint planning, program reviews, risk reviews — using Jira, Confluence, and Asana
- Track and unblock dependencies across engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams; elevate with clear recommendations, not just problems
- Build and maintain program dashboards and executive reporting in Looker or Tableau, surfacing schedule risk and delivery metrics
- Drive launch readiness for major releases: coordinate runbooks, comms plans, go/no-go reviews, and post-launch retrospectives
- Improve how the team works: standardize intake processes, documentation, and planning cadences across programs
- Manage program budgets and vendor timelines where external partners are involved
What We Are Looking For
- 4-7 years of program or project management experience, ideally in SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or a similar technical domain
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent programs with competing priorities and senior stakeholders
- Fluency with agile tooling and practices (Jira, Asana, sprint ceremonies, dependency management)
- Strong written communication: crisp status updates, clear escalation memos, decision docs
- Comfortable with data — building metrics, interpreting delivery dashboards, and making tradeoff cases with numbers
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification; experience with technical programs like migrations, platform launches, or SOC 2/compliance rollouts; SQL or advanced spreadsheet modeling
