About the Role
We are currently seeking a Program Manager with experience in leading highly complex and strategic programs end-to-end, including Agile project management, product launch management, change management, and organizational dynamics, to be part of PayPal's Marketing Domain Platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience leading Marketing Technology Transformation Programs involving Adobe or Salesforce implementations.
Responsibilities
- Drive the management of large, complex programs over a finite period to achieve specific business goals, ensuring timely delivery of business value and efficient use of resources.
- Partner with Business and Technology leadership to establish a clear understanding of the program's vision, purpose, and expected benefits, with measurable KPIs aligned to company goals.
- Manage work decomposition across multiple delivery teams, define program interdependencies, and plan releases across organizational boundaries.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Development teams to execute programs aligned with product vision, goals, and timelines, addressing resourcing challenges creatively.
- Resolve program-level issues, facilitate escalations, and manage change at the program level.
- Monitor program health, track status, risks, issues, dependencies, and address impediments proactively.
- Communicate program status and roadmap changes to stakeholders, lead reviews with teams and executives.
- Promote agile delivery practices, facilitate retrospectives, and drive continuous improvement.
- Coach teams and managers to adopt agile practices, stepping into key management roles as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a program manager.
- Experience managing multiple software/product development teams, with a preference for Agile lifecycle management.
- Proven track record of delivering complex development programs that improve customer experience.
- Ability to develop cross-organizational relationships and collaborate across geographies.
- Strong technical understanding and customer focus throughout the program lifecycle.
- Knowledge of project management processes, tools, templates, and techniques.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum.
- Experience supporting major software implementations with concurrent releases.
This position offers a pay range of $51.87/hour to $69.16/hour.
