Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Program Manager to partner with capability leaders in developing and executing annual strategic priorities and operating plans. You will coordinate RDQ priorities, manage governance and templates, and drive delivery with leadership teams.

The role requires experience supporting leadership teams, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Pharma/biotech/healthcare experience preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma and PMP credentials preferred.

Program Manager

What You Will Do

• Partner with capability leaders to develop and execute annual strategic priorities, operating plans, and measurable deliverables
• Coordinate execution of RDQ priorities using standardized templates, governance, and business processes
• Monitor organizational objectives, milestones, dependencies; identify operational risks and recommend mitigation
• Co-lead planning and execution of leadership team meetings and organizational forums (e.g., performance management reviews)
• Develop governance/dashboards/decision materials and meeting content; drive follow-up on decisions and action items
• Prepare standardized business materials, executive updates, operating review content, and leadership communications using common RDQ templates
• Serve as primary operational liaison between capability leadership and the Strategic Performance & Operations Director; support RDQ budget planning and management
• Coordinate functional initiatives; operationalize enterprise initiatives into actionable plans
• Monitor timelines/deliverables/interdependencies; facilitate strategic workshops and planning sessions
• Support transformation initiatives (e.g., new operating models, organizational changes) and Continuous Improvement change management best practices
• Improve organizational effectiveness via standardized processes, governance, templates, and tools; build/manage knowledge repositories (e.g., SharePoint, MS Teams)
• Support workforce/capacity planning; monitor organizational health metrics and recommend improvements

Qualifications

Basic:

• Doctorate OR Master’s + 2 years OR Bachelor’s + 4 years OR Associate’s + 8 years OR High school/GED + 10 years (program management, business operations, quality assurance, R&D)

Preferred:

• Experience supporting leadership teams
• Program/portfolio management in matrix organizations; manage multiple priorities
• Strategic roadmaps/operating plans; financial stewardship
• Global team integration; collaboration and AI tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, ChatGPT, Copilot)
• Excellent written/verbal communication; pharma/biotech/healthcare experience (incl. R&D quality/risk management)
• Lean Six Sigma and PMP
