The primary responsibility of the Program Manager is overseeing multiple interrelated projects and ensuring their outcomes align with organizational strategy. This role establishes program frameworks, coordinates resources and dependencies across cross-functional teams, and provides senior leaders with clear visibility into progress, risks, and decisions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design and implement program governance frameworks, roadmaps, and operating cadences
- Translate organizational strategy into clear program objectives, outcomes, milestones, and measures of success
- Oversee multiple interrelated projects, ensuring coordinated execution and alignment across workstreams
- Allocate resources, budgets, capacity, and priorities across the program
- Identify and manage cross-project dependencies, constraints, risks, and issues, escalating decisions when needed
- Align executives, business leaders, project teams, and other stakeholders
- Establish program performance metrics and use data and analytics to guide decisions and corrective actions
- Report program progress, outcomes, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership
- Lead organization-wide initiatives that require coordination across departments or business units
- Guide change management, stakeholder readiness, and adoption activities that support program outcomes
- Maintain program plans, decision logs, status reports, and governance documentation
- Mentor project managers and emerging leaders, reinforcing accountability and effective delivery practices
- Improve program and project management processes, tools, and standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
- Progressive experience leading complex, cross-functional programs of strategic importance
- Ability to manage interrelated projects, competing priorities, and shared dependencies
- Advanced stakeholder management, negotiation, and executive communication skills
- Strong strategic thinking, organizational design, and change management skills
- Proficiencyin program analytics, budgeting, resource planning, and data-driven decisions
Preferred Skills
- Experience with project and portfolio tools, dashboards, and performance metrics
- Experience leading organization-wide initiatives and mentoring project leaders
- Experience working in healthcare, fintech, or another compliance-driven environment is a plus
- Payer pre-pay experience andpaymentintegrity knowledge are strongly preferred.
Mental and Physical Demands
- This position will be exposedmainly toan indoor office environment and will be expected to work in or around computers and printers.
- The nature of the work is sedentary, and the employee will be sitting most of the time.
- Essential physical functions of the job include typing and the repetitive motion toutilizecomputer software and hardware continuously throughout the day.

$80,000 - $100,000 a year
