ABOUT THE GRO FUND

The GRO Fund builds bold, evidence-based, and community-driven solutions to address racial

income and wealth divides in Georgia. Our flagship program, In Her Hands, provides a monthly, no-

strings-attached income supplement to nearly 1,000 women across Georgia. Freedom Futures, our

accelerated Baby Bonds pilot, blends monthly income support, financial advising, and an investable

sum for 50 young adults. We are a staff of 10, operating with an annual budget of approximately

$3–5 million. Over the next three years, we anticipate expanding our program portfolio to match the

ambitions of our updated 2026 strategy.

We are bringing to life solutions that meet communities’ needs now, while shifting policy possibilities

for the long term. GRO’s new strategy rests on a clear causal logic: implement innovative cash and

capital programs with rigor, share results and learning widely, and build the credibility that shifts

what peers, funders, and policymakers believe is possible. We work across three mutually

reinforcing tracks – programs, field influence, and policy change – with the conviction that when

effective solutions spread beyond GRO, more people benefit from approaches the broader field has

been too slow to try. That ambition requires that GRO attracts more funders, builds a strong data

infrastructure to inform our learning and decision-making, and ensures our operations can support a

growing portfolio of program innovations.

KEY OUTCOMES FOR THIS ROLE

Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Program Manager will serve as a primary implementation

lead and a trusted point of contact for participants, community members, and program partners.

They will coordinate internal staff and external partners, lead participant support, and develop the

plans, processes, and tools needed to run programs effectively. They will also contribute to program

design and refinement through research, community engagement, and analysis of implementation

experience, taking the lead on specific design questions in coordination with the Director. As GRO

grows, this role will help launch new initiatives and document lessons that inform future programs

and broader field and policy work.

Apply by October 30, 2026.

The target start date is in late January. Flexibility will be given for the candidate with the best fit. References will be requested from finalists.
