Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) is seeking an experienced professional to provide operational oversight for the Hope Division’s youth-serving programs, including runaway and homeless youth initiatives. The role supports youth recipients and host homes and collaborates with FSRI and community partners.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of related experience, strong organizational and communication skills, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work a hybrid

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3–5 years equivalent experience working with youth, foster care, or other low-income families in a social service, mental health, or juvenile justice environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills required.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance required.
  • Ability to work a hybrid, flexible schedule required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to take initiative and work collaboratively as part of a team preferred.
  • FSRI values staff with bilingual language capacity and familiarity with the local community served.
  • Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
  • Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.
