Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) is seeking a licensed master’s‑level clinician to supervise trauma therapy teams and oversee related community services in Providence, RI. You will conduct crisis assessments, provide brief treatment, and support evidence‑based practices while participating in on‑call emergency coverage.

Strong licensure and multilingual abilities are valued; Spanish/ASL language skills may be compensated.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services required.
• Independent license required.
• Licensed in Rhode Island as Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor.
• Proficiency in professional writing.
• Spanish speaking preferred and compensated.

Job DetailsJob Location: Hope Street - Providence, RI 02904Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Graduate DegreeSalary Range: $78,000.00 - $95,036.00 SalaryTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Shift: DayFSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community!

Position Summary:Participate as a leader and active team-member to support the behavioral health of clients accessing services at FSRI. Responsible for supervising community service programs such as DCYF contracted Trauma Systems Therapy teams and providing licensing supervision to masters level clinicians. Supports a trauma-informed, client and family-centered philosophy of care. Performs crisis assessments, brief treatment, and consultation where needed, and manages evidenced based models of treatment. Participates in on-call emergency services. Conducts clinical training as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.) required.
• Independent license required.
• Required to be licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor
• Proficiency in professional writing
• Skilled in operating variousmedicalrecord software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs
• Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated
• Flexible schedule with some evenings
• Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
• Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
• Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.
