Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned Program Manager to lead AI Lab initiatives across the HP device portfolio, aligning strategy, milestones, and cross-functional execution. Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years of work experience in program management, preferably with exposure to AI/ML product programs, engineering development, or hardware-software co-development
• Demonstrated experience managing programs with Gen AI components
• Experience managing IHV or ISV partner relationships and driving accountability against external commitments

Responsibilities

• Manages and leads AI Lab programs involving multiple functions and program teams, driving engineering development and deployment of AI models across the HP device portfolio
• Directs the development of overall program strategy, resource allocation plans, and milestone tracking for AI Lab initiatives
• Manages relationships with external partners including IHVs (e.g., Qualcomm) and ecosystem partners such as Microsoft; holds partners accountable to committed deliverables
• Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product and engineering stakeholders; collaborates across teams to drive continuous improvement
• Monitors and enforces project schedules and quality with vendors and internal development partners
• Runs cross-functional meetings across many teams and stakeholder groups; drives alignment and clear ownership on action items
• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and Gen AI capabilities into programs and activities
• Reviews and evaluates program plans for compliance with program management standards; provides feedback to improve execution quality and results
• Leads and mentors less-experienced staff to set an example of program management excellence

Education

Bachelor’s or higher in CS, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

Requirements

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent demonstrated experience
• Typically 10+ years of work experience in program management, preferably with exposure to AI/ML product programs, engineering development, or hardware-software co-development
• Demonstrated experience managing programs with Gen AI components
