Job summary

SoloPoint Solutions, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead customer programs in an electronics manufacturing setting. You will oversee order intake, scheduling, scope management, and cross-functional execution with operations, supply chain, and quality to meet delivery and cost targets.

The role requires strong customer-facing skills, cost tracking, and experience with SMT/PCBA processes. Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in relevant fields.
• 5–6 years of program management experience in EMS or related electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with SMT/PCBA, PCB assembly processes (SMT and wave soldering).
• Experience managing technical customer accounts, including quoting and pricing conversations.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own customer program execution from order intake through delivery, as the primary contact for schedule, scope, and change management.
• Track program financials including costs and quoting inputs; support pricing updates and communicate pricing changes to customers.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution across operations, scheduling, supply chain, and quality to hit delivery, cost, and performance targets.
• Lead customer communications regarding delays, product issues, and test or quality failures; drive recovery plans.
• Maintain floor-level awareness of manufacturing flow; apply SMT/PCBA process knowledge to support decisions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 5 to 6 years of program management experience within electronics manufacturing services (EMS) or a closely related electronics manufacturing environment. Experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment involving SMT and PCBA, with working knowledge of PCB assembly processes (SMT and wave soldering). Proven ability to manage technical customer accounts, including quoting support, program cost tracking, and customer-facing pricing conversations. Working knowledge of quality systems and regulated environments, including exposure to ITAR and/or ISO-based quality management systems. Experience building strong customer relationships; high emotional intelligence, patience, integrity, and comfort handling difficult conversations. Knowledge of product lifecycle management concepts and cross-functional execution across operations, quality, and supply chain. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.
