Job summary

Axiomtek in Methuen, MA is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the entire order cycle, aligning outsourcing needs with operations to deliver high-quality, on-time products.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, manage supplier and cost negotiations, and support sales with strategic account management.

This role requires strong communication, ERP/MRP knowledge, and a track record in manufacturing or related domains.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business or technical discipline or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP structures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio; SAP a plus.
• Manufacturing, Sales or Account Management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact and escalation path for the customer throughout the life of the program
• Help facilitate the New Product Introduction process to ensure mass production readiness
• Assist internal teams to optimize profitability and inventory management
• Participate in the creation and execution of processes to ensure quality and on time delivery
• Provide forecast data to internal teams and/or key suppliers
• Contribute in strategic supply chain agreements and material price negotiations
• Communicate our manufacturing capabilities and service offerings
• Establish strong relationships and support the “team” environment with our customers
• Coordinate and participate in business reviews
• Consistently look for new opportunities for up selling
• Support the sales team as needed to help close new business opportunities within the assigned account
• Identifyand resolve issues that may arise in the program (technical, quality, supply chain etc.)
• Must adhere to Quality Management System.

JOB BRIEF

This position requires a reliable person to be responsible for the overall product delivery process. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind, a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. Goal is to manage the entire order cycle as to enhance business development, ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction. Able to conduct quarterly business reviews with the customer.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

The PgM will build a working knowledge of our systems integration process, product and service offerings and general business. This knowledge is used to match the customer’s outsourcing requirements to our operational flow in order to ensure that a consistent, on-time and high-quality product is produced. Strong communication and cross functional team leadership skills are necessary as well.

The PgM will be responsible for establishing a total manufacturing plan to meet the customer’s needs while simultaneously optimizing revenue and gross profit. It is expected that the PgM will implement on-going improvements to enhance the efficiency of the program. Additional key functions include: material cost savings, improved inventory turns, quality control, on-time delivery, overall customer satisfaction and upselling.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES

• Able to facilitate communication between factories and vendors overseas.
• Strong oral, written and communication skills
• BS/BA in Business or a technical discipline, or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP structure
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, and general computer knowledge. SAP is a plus.
• Manufacturing and/or Sales and Account Management experience is a plus
