Job summary

Momentum Manufacturing Group LLC is seeking a Program Manager to oversee manufacturing projects in metal fabrication, machining, and assembly. You will be the primary customer contact and ensure programs meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 5+ years in manufacturing program management, with strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and a data-driven approach to decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing program management, preferably in metal fabrication, machining, or assembly.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, welding, forming, and assembly.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to work in a customer-facing role, managing client expectations and resolving issues effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and project management software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project requirements.
  • Oversee and manage manufacturing programs from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, production, and quality control, to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Provide design for manufacturability (DFM) feedback to MMG engineering and direct to the customer.
  • Monitor project performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing concerns and providing solutions to meet their needs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with manufacturing operations and supply chain management.

Job Summary

Physical and Environmental Conditions
  • Primarily sitting at a desk with occasional need to stand, walk, and reach for items.

  • Repetitive hand movements due to keyboard use.
  • Visual acuity for close work with computer screens.
  • Indoor office setting with controlled temperature and lighting.
  • Moderate noise level from office equipment and conversations.
  • Exposure to computer screens for extended periods.
  • Potentially occasional exposure to dust and allergens from paper documents.

This position operates in both office and manufacturing floor environments. Exposure to noise, machinery, temperature variation, and industrial conditions may occur when accessing plant areas.
