Job summary

Advent is seeking a Program Manager to lead educational and training initiatives for USAFSAM staff and DoD medical personnel at Wright Patterson AFB. The role focuses on medical readiness, data collection, reporting, and program coordination to support mission objectives.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience with MS Office, and knowledge of Air Force standards and CMRP requirements. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday, 0730–1630.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a medical-related environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of applicable Air Force standards, military and civilian policies, and procedures, with successful completion of USAFSAM and department orientation within 60 days of hire.
  • Knowledge of the Comprehensive Medical Readiness Program (CMRP), Training Affiliation Agreements, nursing competencies, and continuing education program requirements.
  • Ability to provide a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to the start of performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide educational and training support for USAFSAM staff and Department of Defense medical personnel.
  • Support aerospace and operational medicine training while helping maintain medical readiness, deployment training, and academic standards.
  • Collect, monitor, analyze, and report training and readiness data to support program performance and decision-making.
  • Maintain and update SharePoint training records, status rosters, and collaborate with field points of contact to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Coordinate training requirements and resolve scheduling or program conflicts as needed.
  • Support the Comprehensive Medical Readiness Program by maintaining program updates, monitoring continuing education activities, and assisting with medical policy initiatives.
  • Manage Warrior Training Center scheduling and related administrative activities.
  • Provide credentialing support by tracking nursing licensure, certifications, Basic Life Support (BLS), and other professional requirements.
  • Analyze training data, identify program gaps, and prepare reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop program objectives, establish priorities, and ensure projects align with USAFSAM organizational goals and mission requirements.
  • Present complex information clearly and professionally through written reports, briefings, and stakeholder communications.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Prior office management experience.

  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Knowledge of the Joint Trauma Service, Air Force Medical Service Clinical Practice Guidelines, and educational delivery methods.
