Job summary

Valeris is seeking a Market Access Program Manager to serve as the primary client contact for pharmaceutical programs within the HUB Services organization. You will manage day-to-day program activity, supervise staff, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute the work plan and ensure contract terms are met.

You will drive program performance, prepare client reports, analyze metrics, and present insights to clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in reimbursement, pharmaceutical marketing, or patient services.
  • Experience leading teams of Case Managers or Patient Service Representatives.
  • Experience reporting HUB metrics and communicating trends to clients.
  • Proven leadership and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Mobilize internal and external stakeholders for program design and improvements.
  • Manage program scope, budget, and SOPs within contracted terms.
  • Maintain the client relationship and build trust with stakeholders.
  • Oversee day-to-day program operations and staff supervision.
  • Prioritize schedules and coordinate cross-functional responsibilities.
  • Drive performance through team leadership and accountability.
  • Analyze and present program data, reports, and insights to clients.
  • Monitor metrics and ensure on-time delivery against standards.
  • Support interview, training, and development of team members.

The Market Access Program Manager serves as the primary client contact for pharmaceutical program(s). This includes managing the day-to-day activity of the program and supervising the assigned program staff. To succeed, this person maintains extensive interaction with internal and external customers, helps define and execute the work plan for program staff, has significant participation in program strategic planning, and is accountable for the proper execution of contract terms for assigned program(s). The Market Access Program Manager reports to the Market Access Program Director within Valeris' HUB Services organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mobilize internal and external stakeholders with respect to program design, program improvements, and/or changes.
  • Manage program(s) per the scope of work, program and standard operating procedures within the contracted budget.
  • Manage the client relationship, gaining trust and building rapport.
  • Manage day-to-day activity of program operations, including supervision of staff.
  • Prioritize and manage personal schedule as well as the schedules of others.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders for program operational responsibilities.
  • Directly or through supervisors, drive assigned performance responsibilities of team and team members.
  • Contribute to the analysis and writing of client reports and other deliverables.
  • Monitor and report on program statistics and metrics used to measure the performance of team members, teams, and the overall program.
  • Present program data, information, and insight to internal and external customers on a regular basis.
  • Escalate issues that put the program's course in jeopardy of not delivering to contracted standards.
  • Participate with Hub Services leadership and client team on initiatives to improve process and performance.
  • Travel on a limited basis to and attend related meetings/conferences as required.
  • Participate in interviewing prospective employees, evaluating current employees, and training employees.
  • Provide verbal and written feedback to team members based on performance reviews, statistics, QA results, and observed behaviors.
  • May assist with requirements identification, specifications development, and User Acceptance Testing to support program and other responsibilities as needed.
  • Utilize Valeris’ values as the driving force behind the team’s success.
  • On time adherence to training deadlines for all corporate policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all SOPs are followed with consistency.
  • Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience working in reimbursement, pharmaceutical marketing, or patient services.
  • Experience managing a team of Case Managers, Patient Service Representatives, or similar roles.
  • Experience reporting on HUB metrics and communicating trends to clients.
  • Demonstrated successful leadership experience.
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office and internet experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude and experience working in various CRM software platforms.
