Job summary

General Dynamics IT is seeking a Program Sr Manager to lead the modernization of applications supporting DTRA's Joint Operations Center. You will guide a team of IT professionals to deliver mission critical information to DTRA leadership and ensure successful program execution.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, a BA/BS, and 5+ years of related experience, with PMP preferred. Location is customer site with some telework possible, and US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree is required.
• 5+ years of related experience required.
• Program/project management experience required.
• Security clearance TS/SCI required.
• Strong written and oral communication capabilities required.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a program area with annual revenues of $10M+.
• Lead IT professionals and watch officers maintaining and operating applications for DTRA leadership.
• Define requirements and priorities with DTRA leadership and communicate status.
• Apply project/program management methods to control cost, schedule, and scope.

HOW A PROGRAM SR MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area with annual revenues of $10M and above
• Leads a team of IT professionals and watch officers that maintain, develop, and operate a suite of applications that provides operational information to DTRA leadership
• Works closely with DTRA leadership to define requirements and priorities, develop plans, and communicate status
• Applies project and program management techniques and principles to control cost, schedule, and scope
• Experience in proposal development and Task Order Solicitations.

• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (Required)
