Job description

Program Manager – Federal Government – Charleston, SC

We are looking for a Program Manager to support client engagement within the federal government. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with AI and automation technical expertise and strong team management skills. This position supports the Navy’s ability to recruit, onboard, and retain top talent through alignment of workflows to AI and automation technical capabilities.

Scope of Responsibilities
  • Work directly with the government project manager to oversee and manage cost, schedule and performance.
  • Analyze current government workflow/processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop an implementation plan with the technical team to deliver improvements to the client.
  • Perform management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Track program/project status and schedules.
  • Apply government‑instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
  • Collect, complete, organize, and interpret contractual data relating to projects and programs.
  • Monitor obligations and expenditures against phased baseline budgets.
  • Support clients by managing project budgets/costs, schedules, performances, briefing slides, and risks.
  • Conduct process improvement assessments and present findings in a professional and compelling manner.
  • Apply analytic techniques in support of the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Take ideas from whiteboards to briefs, and be proactive with ideas on leadership presentations and discussions.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of relevant DoW work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems (relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirement).
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong writing skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages for detailed analytical reports and executive summaries.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in workflow/process analysis and improvement implementation.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
Desired Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Experience leading a technical team and implementing a process improvement plan.
  • Experience applying data management, data analysis, and data visualization.
Salary

$130k+ to align with education and experience.

Security Clearance
