Job summary

Summary: The Program Manager is responsible for managing inventory levels and requirements for customer contracts. They will work in close cooperation with colleagues, incl Sales, Product Management, Warehouse, and vendors via phone, e-mail or portals. The Program Manager assists in proper part-data management for Assortment AA parts to facilitate EDI and efficient workflows.

Key Objectives:

• Monitor inventory level adjustments, stock out management and arrange parts logistics
• Purchase parts for stock and back to back business
• Consolidate all purchasing activities to improve efficiencies
• Cooperate with Sales on customer special needs, requirements and any expedite requests
• Create reporting to communicate and monitor expedites, late deliveries and quality issues
• Establish close relationships with vendors to achieve cost efficiencies and strong performance

Preferred Training/Certification:

• APICS certification and/or SCM training courses

The Qualities you possess and the skills and background you'll bring:

• Superior communication skills for frequent interaction with other departments and vendors.
• Advanced proficiency and workplace experience in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.
• Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university.
• 2+ years of industry experience, purchasing experience. Good understanding of QMS.
• Good understanding of Quality Management Systems
