Description

Harmonic is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the successful and timely execution of technical programs across multiple teams and geographic locations, throughout the full system development lifecycle. This role is remote, based anywhere in the US, reporting to the Sr. Manager - Program Management, with travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule complex projects, define activities, allocate resources, estimate efforts, and track progress to ensure adherence to schedules.
  • Monitor project status, track issues, and report on milestones, deliverables, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, address concerns, and ensure alignment on project efforts.
  • Maintain program integrity by establishing practices, templates, policies, and tools within the PMO.
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle from demos and trials to deployment, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Work independently to manage daily activities and track success metrics.
  • Develop standardized processes for project execution to improve efficiency.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, ensuring compliance with standards and customer requirements.
Qualifications
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder, and customer management skills.
  • Experience in project execution, monitoring, control, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • Deep knowledge of Project Management and PMI standards.
  • Excellent time management, negotiation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with dispersed teams and clients.
  • Proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Understanding of networking hardware and software is advantageous.
  • 2-3 years of PM experience in telecom projects or >3 years as a Service Delivery Manager.
  • Engineering background in telecom areas preferred.
  • Certifications like PMP, PMI, ITIL, Agile, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE are highly valued.
Additional Details

Travel: Up to 20% of the time.

Salary: $70,000 - $100,000, commensurate with experience and location.
