Job summary

Factspan is seeking a seasoned Program Manager in Atlanta, GA to lead multi-year Martech transformation programs, including Adobe platform migration and ESP modernization. You will own delivery across engineering, data, product, and campaign operations, managing complex cross-functional workstreams with tight governance.

The role requires 10–17 years of experience, strong planning, risk management, and the ability to drive executive-level reporting, stakeholder alignment, and on-time release

Responsibilities

  • Build end-to-end program plans covering discovery, requirements, architecture, development, QA, UAT, integration, and rollout.
  • Drive multi-pod delivery across Martech Engineering, Data Engineering, ESP Migration, Personalization, and QA teams.
  • Maintain a clear view of scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and resource needs across all workstreams.
  • Ensure alignment with retail peak calendars, code freeze windows, and campaign cycles.
  • Lead executive-level communication with Product, Marketing, Customer Engagement, IT, Digital, and vendor leadership.
  • Run structured governance forums, including steering committees, PMO reviews, dependency discussions, and weekly readouts.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for business alignment, technical progress, and delivery outcomes
  • Identify delivery risks early across data, integrations, infrastructure, or campaign operations.
  • Develop mitigation plans and ensure execution through the right owners.
  • Manage scope changes, version baselines, and intake processes with traceability.
  • Coordinate daily work across developers, data engineers, campaign engineers, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, predictable delivery, and strong communication.
  • Support onboarding and ramp-up of cross-vendor and multi-location teams.
  • Publish weekly program dashboards, burn-down charts, risk logs, and executive summaries.
  • Work with PMO and Finance partners for budgeting, forecasts, and vendor utilization reporting.

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Program Manager who can lead multi-year, cross-functional programs focused on Martech transformation, Adobe platform migration, ESP modernization, and customer communications. This role demands strong delivery ownership, structured program governance, and the ability to work closely with engineering, data, product, and campaign operations teams. The ideal candidate brings deep domain understanding, hands-on planning skills, and a strong ability to manage complexity at scale.

Key Responsibilities
Program Planning & Delivery Execution
  • Build end-to-end program plans covering discovery, requirements, architecture, development, QA, UAT, integration, and rollout.
  • Drive multi-pod delivery across Martech Engineering, Data Engineering, ESP Migration, Personalization, and QA teams.

  • Drive detailed tracking of milestones, feature delivery, integration progress, and test coverage.
  • Publish weekly program dashboards, burn-down charts, risk logs, and executive summaries.
  • Work with PMO and Finance partners for budgeting, forecasts, and vendor utilization reporting.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Program Management Skills
  • Strong planning, estimation, scope management, and delivery governance experience.
  • Ability to handle multi-year, multi-track programs with 20–50+ people across pods.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity for leadership.
Domain Expertise
  • Martech and Customer Engagement platforms.
  • ESP migrations (e.g., Oracle Responsys → AJO).
  • Campaign lifecycle understanding: segmentation, triggers, orchestration, analytics, and compliance.
  • Retail/e-commerce experience with peak season management.
Technical Understanding (Non-Hands-On)
  • GCP concepts: BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, GCS, Pub/Sub.
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and customer 360 datasets.
  • Understanding of API integrations, event-driven architectures, and batch processing.
  • Ability to work with engineering teams on technical design and dependency mapping.
  • Comfort with Jira, Confluence, Git-based workflows, and Agile ceremonies.
Tools & Platforms
  • Project and portfolio tools: Jira Advanced Roadmaps, Aha!, Smartsheet, MS Project.
  • Communication & Reporting: PowerPoint, Confluence, Google Workspace.
  • Martech Platforms: Adobe AJO, Adobe Campaign, CDPs, ESPs.
  • Data Engineering Stack (conceptual): Airflow/Composer, BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, SQL.
  • Strong ownership mindset with a bias for action and clarity.
  • High accountability and the ability to work under tight timelines.
  • Calm, structured communication during escalations or ambiguous situations.
  • Comfortable leading distributed teams across onsite, offshore, and vendor partners.
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive outcomes across domains.
Nice to Have
  • Prior experience with personalization engines or recommendations platforms.
  • Understanding of GenAI-driven content generation or campaign QA automation.
  • Experience in large-scale cloud migrations or customer experience modernization.
