Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Program Manager (AFS IPT) to lead cost, schedule, and technical performance for a subset of products within the AFS Integrated Product Team. You will coordinate engineering, supply chain, contracts, finance, planning and operations to ensure program baseline delivery.

The role directs all program phases, negotiates contracts, and communicates with the customer during reviews.

• Experience developing and executing cost and schedule baselines.
• Understanding CAM responsibilities, including Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including an ability to interact with staff, customers, management, and peers.

The MK21A Arming & Fuzing Assembly (AFS) Product Owner (Program Manager) is fully responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance associated with design, build, test and delivery of a subset of products within the AFS Integrated Product Team (IPT). The selected candidate will lead and integrate professionals from engineering, supply chain, contracts, finance, planning and operations to ensure performance to the program baseline.

Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

• Understanding of Control Account Management (CAM) responsibilities, including Earned Value Management (EVM) and managing performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with staff, customers, management, and peers
• Ability to travel on an as-needed basis

• Direct Control Account Manager (CAM) experiences, including Earned Value Management (EVM) and managing performance metrics
• Experience working with multiple functions simultaneously to execute a program, including Program Management, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Planning and Finance

• Proven experience in driving and implementing affordability and producibility changes, especially those directly impacting program performance
• Subcontract Management experience
• Production Operations experience
• Familiar with strategic missile development programs and Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center / ICBM Customer
• Experience executing Design for “X” concepts, and performing DfX scorecard assessments - Leading the design and development culture to focus on Digital Engineering and Design for “X” to ensure efficient design and production without escapes, and enhanced communication across all functional disciplines

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $135700.00 - $251900.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
