Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. in Blacksburg, Virginia seeks a Program Management Director to lead the Program Management function across all Power and Data Division businesses.

You will drive consistency in processes, tools, and best practices while ensuring programs meet cost, schedule, and performance commitments for Moog and its customers. The Director will develop functional strategies, establish baselines, mentor senior leaders, monitor performance, and oversee recovery plans for underperforming

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and oversee implementation of functional strategies and objectives for Program Management across the Power and Data Division.
• Lead the Program Management function across multiple Power and Data Division businesses.
• Directly lead and develop Program Management personnel.
• Establish program baselines to ensure execution meets or exceeds proposal margin targets.
• Develop and implement improved Program Management processes, tools, and best practices.
• Drive consistency across the three Business Units while supporting individual business needs.
• Build and mentor senior Program Management leadership.
• Ensure required Program Management competencies and behaviors are effectively embedded across the organization.
• Create performance metrics, dashboards, and management tools to monitor Program Management effectiveness.
• Review underperforming programs and partner with program leadership to develop mitigation and recovery plans.
• Oversee recovery execution and monitor results.
• Position Program Management as a growth enabler for revenue and operating profit.
• Collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization.
• Manage and develop relationships with customers at the executive level.
• Apply recognized Program Management standards and practices across government and commercial contract environments.

• Experience managing program recovery and mitigation activities.
