Domicile Location:

The preferred location for this hybrid position is Memphis, TN. We are open to candidates in Plano, TX and Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates residing within 50 miles of a FedEx campus will be required to work on-site at a FedEx location several times per week.

To provide technical expertise and support for planning, developing, organizing and coordinating large programs/projects.

Essential Responsibilities

1) Serve as the dedicated workforce strategy partner to 8 SLTs across a 15k+ FTE global footprint;

2) Facilitate definition of org-level workforce plans and validates alignment to Enterprise capacity-to-demand targets, global footprint rebalancing, and approved funding models;

3) Reconciles funded vs. onboard positions and vacancy posture at each SLT level, resolving variances;

4) Manages the handoff into the approval and execution pipeline, ensuring plans are decision-ready rather than returned for re-work.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required capability profile: This position is scoped to the current state demands of the strategy.

1) Analytical depth.Builds and interrogates workforce models including funded vs. onboard reconciliations, vacancy and attrition posture, scenario modeling vs. Enterprise targets.Must be able to construct the analysis independently and defend the assumptions to executive leadership.

2) Applied AI fluency.Uses AI tooling and structured prompting to compress analytical cycle time, synthesizing org-level plan submissions, drafting and iterating executive-ready content, and standardized recurring analysis across the SLT orgs.This is a working requirement, not a familiarity requirement.

3) Executive translation.Converts modeling output into decisions SLTs can act on, and into packages that clear Finance, HR, and TA review.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business or related quantitative discipline.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years exempt experience in project/program management, product development, systems design/development or business /financial planning and analysis. Experience in the use of project management/planning software. Experience in planning major projects including development of project proposals, business cases, schedules, and financial justification.

Pay:

Memphis: $7,488.36/monthly-$9,922.07/monthly

Plano: $7,882.48/monthly-$10,444.28/monthly

Pittsburgh: $7,882.48/monthly-$10,444.28/monthly

Summary

Under limited supervision, interacts with business partners and/or it staff to gather and document information related to requirements and/or software testing. Gathers information from multiple sources and independently sorts medium to high complexity business issues to recommend appropriate direction. Frequently leads large project efforts. Analyzes business processes and associates them to software deliverables. Develops and/or executes test scripts against requirements. Drafts and reviews documentation in compliance with the FedEx global development process. Develops and/or maintains a business model that reflects current processes and business rules. Provides and/or consolidate input to scoping and impact analysis for Future deliverables. Mentors those in less senior positions.

Pay Transparency

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
