Job Title: Program Leader

Program Leaders work with an assigned group of students in an in-person setting at districts and school sites throughout California. They serve as positive role models, coaches, and mentors, fostering a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities include leading students, enforcing behavior standards, creating engaging environments, supporting positive behavior, communicating student needs, and participating in staff development.

Responsibilities

• Lead student groups, maintain behavior and safety standards.
• Serve as a positive adult role model.
• Create an engaging and inclusive environment.
• Support positive behavior and disciplinary measures.
• Identify and communicate student needs.
• Participate in staff development.

In-Person Learning

• Provide homework help, academic enrichment, and physical activities.
• Work directly with 20-25 students, managing classroom behavior.
• Assist with snack preparation and cleanup.
• Maintain site cleanliness and safety procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• District-specific units or pass pre-employment test.
• Proficiency in Standard English.
• Pass Live Scan background check.
• Provide recent negative TB test.
• Experience working with groups of students.
• Strong Math and English skills (K-8).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Support bilingual (Spanish preferred).
