Job summary

City of New York is seeking an Administrative Director of Social Services NM II to lead the CityFHEPS Career & Education Bridge initiative, guiding policy, delivery, and evaluation across a multi-borough network.

Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Commissioner, the role will supervise Career Services personnel, coordinate with HRA and DHS partners, and ensure data-driven outcomes while maintaining compliance with program milestones and federal/state requirements.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Four years of progressively responsible experience, including one year at admin/managerial level in a large governmental agency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and growth of CityFHEPS Career & Education Bridge (CFHEPS-CEB).
• Supervise Career Services staff, including Community Coordinators.
• Coordinate with HRA, DHS, and external partners to align workflows and programs.
• Develop policies and procedures for CFHEPS-CEB and measure participant engagement.
• Standardize data collection, compliance, and reporting across providers and sites.
• Lead interagency meetings and communicate changes to stakeholders.
