Location Currently Hiring: Triskett Station Childcare Center in Cleveland, Ohio- They are hiring a full-time 40-hour-a-week straight shift year-round with an hour break. Hours are 9am until 6pm M-F. They are also looking for this well-qualified applicant to take on program lead job duties for an additional $1 per hour, plus potential bonus opportunities!! This position requires a minimum of a CPL 3 in OCCRRA.

Wage Information
- Full-time hourly position commensurate with experience, training, and education.
- Pay Rate Range: $15.00 to $17.50 per hour.
- Split Shifts with more than a 3 hour timespan in between get an extra $1.00 per hour incentive!
CPL 1 $15.00 per hour / CPL 2 $16.50 per hour / CPL 3 $17.50 per hour
Job Description
- Homework assistance in one-on-one and small group settings; check work and ensure completion if possible
- Plan and implement engaging age-appropriate lesson plans for classroom activities and clubs
- Responsible for the care and supervision of children and classroom management at all times in accordance with licensing standards and best practices
- Work independently with a group of children and as a leader for the team with other teachers, leads, center staff and the director
- Build positive relationships with children, families and other staff members through prompt and accurate response and service, cheerful and professional attitude, and problem-solving spirit
- Manage a classroom environment that is fun and engaging
- Complete and document services provided, such as progress reports, attendance screenings, and assessments as required
- Provide functional classroom support and assist with meal service as required
- May be required to assist with center transportation plans
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with personnel and family information
- All other duties as needed/assigned
QualificationsQualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and experience in a school age setting are required; degree or willingness to obtain a School Age Endorsement though the state is preferred
- Experience in a classroom setting and with school age children is preferred
- Willingness to update job knowledge with required training, DCY licensing rules and SUTQ professional development opportunities, and industry trends
- Must be able to adapt quickly to changing environments and assignments as required
- We seek someone who is prompt and reliable and who possesses a genuine love of children
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 40 lbs. as required
- Must be able to pass background checks and physical/ medical screening as required
