Job summary

University of Central Florida’s Office of Undergraduate Studies seeks a Program Manager II to implement the Pegasus Launch Program, a comprehensive transfer student success initiative. The role leads planning, recruitment, and compliance while coordinating with campus partners and grant resources.

This visiting, renewable contract position focuses on student success, data-informed decisions, and long-term program growth within a funded framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the planning, implementation, assessment, and continuous improvement of the Pegasus Launch Program.
• Lead student recruitment, engagement, retention, and completion efforts across all Pegasus Launch milestones while reviewing participant progress.
• Manage program budgets, grant resources, reporting requirements, and compliance with university and funding agency expectations.
• Actively participate in the recruitment and selection, training, supervision, and performance evaluation of program staff, graduate assistants, and student employees.
• Build and sustain partnerships with campus units, DirectConnect institutions, and other key stakeholders; organize and co-chair the Pegasus Launch Advisory Board and related working groups.
• Direct marketing, communications, outreach, events, and sustainability planning to ensure long-term program growth, impact, and institutionalization beyond the grant period.
• Support other initiatives within the Office of Undergraduate Studies.
• Other duties as assigned.
