YMCA in Aurora, CO seeks an Out-of-School Time Program Lead to guide a team in creating a safe, engaging environment where youth learn and grow in confidence.

Under the Site Director, you will support delivery of the OST program, manage behavior, and ensure participant safety while upholding YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 months (460 hours) experience with children under 13.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.
• Strong group management, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience creating interactive activities and youth development programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, planning, and implementing daily OST activities and supervision.
• Support behavior management and participant safety.
• Observe engagement and support groups of up to 15 youth.
• Assist with keeping program areas clean and stocked with supplies.
• Attend required trainings, meetings, and in-services and follow policies.

Under the direction of the Site Director, the Program Lead is responsible for supporting the delivery of the OST program which includes behavior management and participant safety.
