Serco is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the PORTS program for the US Surface Navy. You will coordinate with the Program Manager, customer, and project team to ensure schedules, budgets, and deliverables meet DoD requirements.

The role requires US citizenship, ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree in a technical or management field, at least 5 years of management including P&L, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project. Travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• US citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience including profit and loss
• Familiar with software development projects
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject)
• Travel up to 10%

Responsabilités

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team
• Review status of projects and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects
