Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum associate degree or higher preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• California credentials such as a teaching permit or Special Education credential may be required.
• One-year related experience and/or training with individuals with disabilities; four years general paid work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction, support, and supervision to individuals served in activities and environments.
• Ensure safety and apply appropriate teaching strategies for persons served.
• Assist with daily living skills and provide physical assistance as needed.
• Develop and implement Individual Service Plans and coordinate activities.
