Job summary

The George Washington University is seeking a Program Manager for the Humanitarian Internship Program (HIP) to oversee partnerships, logistics, and program delivery. You will collaborate with GW leadership, host organizations, and students to ensure a high-impact experiential learning experience aligned with GW’s mission.

Responsibilities include expanding partnerships with humanitarian orgs, marketing HIP, planning, student recruitment, onboarding, and program evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant professional experience, or a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant area of study.
• Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage partnerships with humanitarian organizations, MOUs, and internship descriptions.
• Oversee program marketing, website content, and outreach campaigns.
• Plan annual program timelines and coordination meetings.
• Oversee student recruitment, review, and onboarding processes for HIP.
• Coordinate with GW International Services Office for F-1 students in HIP.
• Serve as primary point of contact for students and host supervisors.
• Design evaluation framework and translate feedback into improvements.
