Job summary

Cornell Cooperative Extension seeks a capable program administrator to lead multi-county educational initiatives, develop evidence-based strategies, and coordinate partnerships with local agencies. Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in nutrition, public health, or related discipline.
  • 2 years volunteer or related work experience.
  • Ability to meet travel requirements.
  • Ability to pass background checks.
  • Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed.
  • Clear English communication (speak, read, write).
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities.
  • Grant writing and funding development experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop program needs assessments and identify community needs.
  • Identify needs, gaps, and trends within grant scopes and plans of work.
  • Lead evaluation of programs identified for expansion and impact.
  • Build partnerships with local health departments, academies, and stakeholders.
  • Manage budgeting, financial guidelines, and grant reporting requirements.
  • Lead staffing plans and coordinate external and internal communications.
