Job summary

Merakey seeks a Program Lead to oversee day-to-day management of programs within the division, reporting to the Program Manager. You will coordinate activities, supervise program staff, manage a caseload, and ensure delivery of high-quality services to participants.

Qualifications

• A four-year college degree or prior work experience with Intellectual Developmental Disability individuals in a similar setting is required, or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Develops effective working schedules and staff coverage for their shift.
• Supervise and Coordinate daily routines.
• Assist in the development of policies and procedures in regard to shift routines.
• Formulate, organize and conduct training programs, orientation of new staff and management training.
• Works with Apartment Manager and Assistant Manager to direct, coordinate and discipline staff to insure adherence to facility policies and ICF/MR regulations.
• Maintain accurate records pertinent to their area; i.e. staff Attendance Charts, In-Service Training, etc.
• Maintain supplies, office supplies, forms and records, etc.
• Assist staff with Resident discipline and care.
• Assist staff and Apartment Management to insure the effective operations of Residential areas.
• Works closely with other departments to insure the needs of the Residents are met.
• Is flexible in regard to their work schedule.
• Conducts fire drills, checks smoke detectors and pull stations weekly.
• Assist in interviewing of applicants.
• Review staff development and performance evaluations, makes recommendations for staff promotions.
• Makes frequent inspections of the facility and monitors overall operations.
• Enforces and advises the Residential Services Director about any concerns of problems.
• Performs related work as required.

Job description

The Program Lead plays a critical role in the day-to-day management and oversight of specific programs or services within their identified Division. Rate of pay - $19.00 OR $21.00 with the selection of enhanced pay.
