Are you a proactive and analytical student with a passion for supply chain and a knack for solving complex problems? Pilot Company is seeking a Logistics Intern to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee, for the summer of 2027. This is a unique opportunity to tackle a real, current problem our logistics team is facing, with the potential to create tools and processes that will be used for years to come.
In this role, you'll be an integral part of the logistics team, refining our processes and creating improved department tools. You'll help us explore new opportunities and visualize data, which will expose you to our supply chain business while improving our operational efficiency. This is an ideal position for a curious and collaborative student who can work autonomously to drive tangible results.
Your responsibilities may include:
Education: A junior or senior pursuing a Supply Chain major preferably with a business analytics minor.
Technical Skills: Experience in data analysis is essential. Experience with Tableau and/or SAP, other database management tools, and AI-enabled solutions for managing and analyzing large datasets is a plus.
Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. We're looking for someone who is curious and can work effectively both autonomously and collaboratively with stakeholders at varying levels. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills are also crucial.
Experience: Previous work or organizational experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
