Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking an Internal Communications Intern for the summer of 2027 to support team engagement and storytelling across internal channels. You will help craft compelling stories, create content, and collaborate with internal and external teams to connect with our workforce.

You will gain exposure to different stakeholders, learn about our business, and contribute to a culture built on Driven, Reliable, Authentic, and Welcoming values.

Qualifications

  • Student pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a creative field.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or video content creation is a plus.
  • Strong verbal communication and ability to translate complex ideas for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in communications or leadership activities is a plus.
  • Qualities: driven, reliable, authentic, and welcoming.

Responsibilities

  • Team Member Engagement: help create team member spotlights for newsletters, digital screens and other internal channels.
  • Content Creation: support the creation and storytelling of engaging content for our internal audience through videography, photography, and blog writing.
  • Visual Content Catalog: architect and curate a centralized digital asset management (DAM) system to tag, organize, and archive raw footage, photography and final edit masters.

Are you a flexible and creative communicator with a passion for storytelling? Pilot Company is seeking an Internal Communications Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a unique opportunity to directly support our efforts to engage team members and shape our internal narrative.

In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, tackling key responsibilities that directly impact our company culture. Your work will help us craft compelling stories, create new content, and explore ways to connect with our team. You will have the chance to work with different stakeholders, learn about the business, and collaborate with both internal and external communications teams.

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities may include:

The interview process for this position will include a 30-minute screening with a recruiter, a 30-minute interview with the internal communications team, followed by a 30-minute final interview with leaders on our communications team.
