Merakey in Philadelphia, PA seeks a Program Instructor specializing in Communication Disorders and/or Speech and Language to join our team. Schedule: 7a-3:30p, Monday–Friday.

The role provides engaging, supportive, and structured activities to help adults with developmental disabilities develop independence, confidence and quality of life. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred; HS diploma with IDD experience considered
• High degree of flexibility, creativity, leadership, and organizational skills
• Background in speech and hearing preferred
• Valid and current driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, supportive, and structured activities for adults with developmental disabilities.
• Facilitate vocational training and independent living skills.
• Develop cognitive and social skills and leisure activities.
• Support participants in developing computer and basic technology skills.
• Maintain a positive, flexible, and person-centered approach; collaborate with the team.
