Job summary

Feed More in Richmond, VA seeks a Manager, Kids Café and Summer Programs to lead growth, execution, and compliance of its Kids Café and summer meal portfolio. The role expands access to nutritious meals by developing community sites, boosting participation, and ensuring high-quality program delivery across CACFP and SFSP.

The Manager oversees Backpack coordination and connects families with support resources.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing community-based programs with measurable growth and accountability.
• Strong relationship-building and facilitation skills with partners, staff, and volunteers.
• Ability to interpret requirements, maintain precise records, and drive timely corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual growth plans for Kids Café and summer programs with goals for sites and meals.
• Recruit and onboard new community partners and expand participation at existing sites.
• Build a robust summer feeding strategy to close seasonal gaps.
• Coordinate Backpack program, align with site calendars and counts.
• Own sponsor compliance for CACFP and SFSP activities and audit readiness.
• Lead site training and provide technical assistance to staff and volunteers.
