i3 is seeking a Program Finance Specialist at our Corporate Office in Huntsville, AL. The role involves auditing travel vouchers, setting labor rates in accounting systems, and acting as a liaison on financial issues with operations and vendors.

Ideal candidates have a finance/accounting degree and up to 3 years of relevant DoD-focused experience, with strong Excel/MS Office skills and the ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
0–3 years of relevant experience.
DoD experience highly preferred.
Experience with program control techniques in the federal contracting environment.
Experience with Deltek CP and Cognos preferred.
Strong analytical skills and excellent written/verbal communication.
Strong Excel and MS Office proficiency.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Overview

i3 has an opportunity for a Program Finance Specialist to join our growing team at our Corporate Office in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

Auditing employee travel voucher submissions and setting up labor categories and rates in accounting systems.
Acts as a liaison between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues.
Interfaces with subcontractors, vendors and customers as required.
Administrative duties such as resume input into preferred format, labor hour input into vendor system, travel cost research for expense authorizations, etc.
Create and maintain contractually obligated cost tracking for gov and prime customers.
Provide any additional support to Program and Program Finance team members, as needed.

Qualifications Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree for Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Additional experience may substitute for degree.
0-3 years of relevant experience.
DoD experience is highly preferred.
Experience working with program control techniques in the federal contracting environment with experience tailoring to contract type and risk.
Experience with Deltek - CP, COGNOS, T&E preferred.
Experience working with financial analysis.
Possess strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and able to comprehend verbal instructions.
Strong working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office tools.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
