Job summary

ICR, Inc. in Mason, OH is seeking a Program Finance Manager responsible for contract accounting, monthly invoicing, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting for complex programs.

The role collaborates closely with Contract Managers and Program Managers to ensure all financial requirements are met and maintained with strong internal controls. The ideal candidate has experience with government contracting, GAAP, and GL month-end close, and must be eligible for a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline.
• Proficiency with Excel and/or equivalent accounting software.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and invoicing procedures.
• Experience with general ledger and month-end/year-end close.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price, and Time and Materials invoices alongside program reporting.
• Track expenses and charged hours against direct projects; manage accounts receivable and contract payments.
• Audit expense reports to ensure compliance with government contracting travel regulations.
• Communicate with Program Managers on project status, performance, and forecasting; prepare ad hoc reports.
• Monitor project budget/funding and coordinate with Contracts Manager on Contracts and Modifications.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Assist in pricing build-up and cost proposal development for new bids and proposals.
• Analyze financial data to prepare reports and projections; establish profit plans and identify performance trends.
• Collaborate with accounting and contracts teams to improve processes and procedures.
