Textron Systems in Newport News, VA seeks an Associate Financial Analyst to perform detailed financial analysis and reporting for assigned contracts. The role collaborates with the program team to ensure accurate monthly cost projections, sales and profit forecasts, and timely decision support.

Responsibilities include forecasting, reporting, and financial status updates to management; a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance is required and security clearance may be needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supporting assigned programs with timely analysis, financial modeling and recommendations for decision making.
• Conducting program analysis, maintain forecasts, and provide monthly Estimate at Completion (EACs).
• Establishing and maintaining Corporate Financial Reports, Program Status Reports, and Earned Value reports.
• Ensuring program financials are accurate and in accordance with SOX and internal controls.
• Using analysis to identify and investigate program issues and advise on actions.
• Providing real time program financial status to Finance Manager and ad-hoc analyses.
• Presenting financial data during monthly/quarterly reviews to frontline and executive management.
• Being integral to the program team and advising on mitigating future risk.
