Job summary

Ipas Mozambique invites applications for a Program Finance Analyst to support the national program team with budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance. The role collaborates with the Finance Manager, Program Director, and country director to strengthen financial management for donor-funded programs.

You will develop and monitor budgets, prepare analyses and dashboards, and coordinate with global finance teams to ensure timely reporting and adherence to contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance (MBA, MS, etc.) strongly preferred; however, equivalent experience may suffice.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional work experience.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.
• Portuguese language skills required, English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage program’s annual operating budget with Finance Manager and Program Director.
• Provide financial management support including tracking of award budgets and annual budgets.
• Input into budget formulation and ensure tools and budgets are maintained.
• Monitor expenses and address financial performance issues; coordinate responses to issues.
• Coordinate donor billing reviews with NC Finance Department to ensure timely, high-quality reports.
