Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years’ progressive experience in international development program operations.
• Experience managing multiple grants, contracts, or cooperative agreements.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, FAR, and 2 CFR200: Uniform Admin Requirements.
• Experience with international, non-profit organizations and multi-office environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management for a portfolio of smaller awards (<$1M).
• Track budgets, obligations, expenditures, burn rates, and balances.
• Maintain award-level financial files for donor compliance and audits.
• Coordinate with program, country finance, contracts, and HQ teams on issues.
• Review budgets, reporting requirements, invoicing, and financial handover materials.
• Perform budget-to-actual analyses and ensure cost allowability and allocability.
• Prepare and review donor financial reports, invoices, and schedules.
• Provide guidance on award financial requirements and onboarding for staff.
