Job summary

Penn State Extended Learning Partnerships (ELP) seeks a Program Coordination Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting non-credit educational programs, including camps, workshops, and conferences. The intern will assist with on-site operations, attend meetings, and lead tasks to help deliver successful programs in a hybrid schedule.

This paid internship pays $15/hour, with 10–20 hours per week, and may include up to 35 hours per week for credit-bearing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with events, meetings, recreation, or program management is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to communicate routinely, organize information, research and explore resources, and identify solutions quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site program operations (registration, check-in/check-out, poster sessions, exhibits, receptions, meals, activities).
• Participate in staff and partner meetings and lead or assist with assigned tasks and projects for program delivery.
• Support planning, coordination, and delivery of non-credit educational programs such as camps, workshops, and conferences.
