Job summary

GT Independence is hiring an Enrollment Specialist to conduct on-site and virtual enrollments for individuals receiving financial management services in self-direction programs. You will educate and advocate for self-direction, coordinating with families and support networks to ensure complete enrollment documents and HIPAA-compliant practices.

The role involves outreach to community partners to grow enrollment, and adherence to confidentiality and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related field experience.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Services/Social Work, or Marketing/Communication.
• Will consider candidates with relevant experience.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and terminology.

The Enrollment Specialist conducts face-to-face and virtual enrollments to consumers who will receive financial management services that support them in the self-direction model of care and serves as an advocate and promoter of self-direction by educating consumers and facilitating the consumer’s understanding of self-direction.

Responsibilities

• Conducts the enrollment process with the person served and their circle of support (i.e., families, guardians) in a timely manner.
• Ensures enrollment documents are complete and accurate.
• Recommends improvements to internal process/systems to prevent future issues and to enhance service experience.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Performs external outreach to community partners, referral sources, and stakeholders to support enrollment growth and enhance service accessibility.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related field
• Associate degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or Human Services/Social Work, or Marketing/Communication is preferred.

Pay Rate

• $21 p/hour.
