Job summary

GT Independence, a national FMS provider, seeks an Enrollment Specialist to guide consumers through self-direction enrollments and act as an advocate for self-direction.

You’ll conduct enrollment with the person served and their support circle, ensure documents are complete, and contribute to process improvements while upholding confidentiality and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Associate degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Services/Social Work, or Marketing/Communication preferred.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures, systems, and terminology.

Responsibilities

The Enrollment Specialist conducts face-to-face and virtual enrollments to consumers who will receive financial management services that support them in the self-direction model of care and serves as an advocate and promoter of self-direction by educating consumers and facilitating the consumer’s understanding of self-direction.

Responsibilities

• Conducts the enrollment process with the person served and their circle of support (i.e., families, guardians) in a timely manner.
• Ensures enrollment documents are complete and accurate.
• Recommends improvements to internal process/systems to prevent future issues and to enhance service experience.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Performs external outreach to community partners, referral sources, and stakeholders to support enrollment growth and enhance service accessibility.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related field
• Associate degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or Human Services/Social Work, or Marketing/Communication is preferred.
• Will consider candidates with experience relevant to the position.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and terminology.
