Job summary

GT Independence is a national Financial Management Services provider seeking an Enrollment Specialist to conduct face-to-face and virtual enrollments for individuals in self-direction programs. You will guide consumers and their circle of support, ensuring enrollment documents are complete and accurate, and advocate for self-direction.

Responsibilities include conducting enrollment with the person served and supporters, coordinating with partners, and maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in enrollment or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of administrative procedures, word processing, file management, and basic terminology.
• Experience in a healthcare or social services setting is a plus.

The Enrollment Specialist conducts face-to-face and virtual enrollments to consumers who will receive financial management services that support them in the self-direction model of care and serves as an advocate and promoter of self-direction by educating consumers and facilitating the consumer’s understanding of self-direction.

Responsibilities

• Conducts the enrollment process with the person served and their circle of support (i.e., families, guardians) in a timely manner.
• Ensures enrollment documents are complete and accurate.
• Recommends improvements to internal process/systems to prevent future issues and to enhance service experience.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Performs external outreach to community partners, referral sources, and stakeholders to support enrollment growth and enhance service accessibility.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related field
• Associate degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or Human Services/Social Work, or Marketing/Communication is preferred.
• Will consider candidates with experience relevant to the position.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and terminology.
