Job summary

General Dynamics IT seeks a Program Director to oversee complex programs driving mission outcomes for customers near Dulles Airport. You’ll manage budgets, staffing, risks, and reporting, serving as primary liaison with the Sponsor’s technical representatives.

Applicants should have 5+ years’ program management experience, active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph clearance, and a degree in IT or engineering. US citizenship is required; occasional travel within Northern Virginia may occur.

Qualifications

• Security clearance level: Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph required.
• US citizenship required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex programs and ensure contractual requirements are satisfied.
• Manage daily program operations, reporting, risks, and budgets.
• Staffing, reporting, and training alignment; biweekly meetings and governance.
• Resource and cost management; maintain program documentation and dashboards.
• Coordinate with COTR, ISSM, and sponsor teams; monitor Jira and sprints.
